The HP 2500C and HP2500C+ are optimized for the network with an MIO slot for an optional HP JetDirect MIO Internal Print Server that supports all major network operating systems and protocols. The HP2500CM is designed for immediate workgroup connectivity with a built-in HP MIO print server. Support includes Microsoft® Windows® 3.1x, 95, 98, NT 4.0 and MS-DOS applications.

What's the Difference?
The HP 2500C with 4 MB is a network capable printer for Windows and DOS. The printer is designed to leverage existing hardware investments with the flexibility to install a HP MIO print server, upgradable with Adobe PostScript 3 and memory up to 76MB RAM1 when you need it.

The HP 2500C+2, with 12MB RAM, is a network-capable printer designed to serve users who require a replacement for the DeskJet 1200C or DeskJet 1600C series of color inkjet printers. This printer also offers the flexibility to install an HP MIO print server, upgrade with Adobe PostScript 3 and memory up to 76MB RAM when you need it.

The HP 2500CM with 20 MB RAM and Adobe Postscript 3 is a network-ready printer for Macintosh3, Windows and DOS. This printer is designed for immediate workgroup connectivity with a built-in HP MIO print server, true Adobe PostScript 3, and upgradable to a total of 76 MB RAM for maximum document portability. (Additional memory only applicable with the Adobe Postscript 3 solution.)

HP's modular ink delivery system employs separate printheads and ink cartridges with built-in "smart chips" intelligence to create a completely integrated system that delivers fast workgroup color printing combined with manageability and exceptionally low cost of operation. The HP 2500C/C+/CM also includes advanced paper handling with two paper trays, 150 / 250-sheet capacity, which extend to accommodate 13" x 19" / Super A3 media. The automatic media size sensors ensure the user prints on the right media size every time.
