The HP 7-bin Mailbox Accessory (left) is compatible with the HP LaserJet 8000, 8100, Mopier 240/320, and 8150 laser printers, which print at 24–32 pages per minute. It works on a table-top, or as a floor-standing unit when used with the optional stand (see below ).

Each of the 7 bins has a capacity of up to 125 sheets and stacks the paper FACE DOWN so the page order is correct. There is a FACE UP tray with 100 page capacity, and 975 sheets of total capacity. This increases the total output capacity of these popular printers from 500 (a normal top-of-printer tray) to 1,475 pages total!

The 7-bin has four operating modes:

•Mailbox—Gives up to 7 users their own personal printer mailbox

•Collator—Places copies of the same document in different hoppers

•Job Separator—Separates chapters of a large job into separate bins

•Stacker—Stacks up to 975 pages unattended across all 7 trays
