We have provided this table so you can order the original tray for your printer, but any of the trays would work for you even though they may differ cosmetically in ways described below. Some Specifics

The HPIII trays are substantially different in shape. Others differ in color. The internal parts of the Mark III trays are slightly dissimilar. Apple LaserWriter trays are the same shape as standard SX trays, but are gray like the Mark III trays, with tops that are smoke gray instead of smoke brown.

Canon uses the word "Cassette" and HP uses the word "Tray".

The envelope tray is adjustable to accomodate various sizes of envelopes and other printing stock. The model name of this tray is "X1".

The Printer Works also offers used paper trays, identified by a "U" in the Part Number.

Notes on Legal Tray P/N R63-0051-700 (Paper Cassette, Canon, Mark III Legal)—

The R63-0051-700 is the same size and shape as the HP version used in the LaserJet II and IID. It was intended for use with the DEC printers, but it works fine with HP II/IID/III/IIID printers. The only difference is that this tray is a slightly darker gray in color— it looks very nice with the gray of the HP printers. Many people do not realize that Canon (not HP) was the original manufacturer of the HP LaserJet II, IID, III, IIID printers. Canon also made printers for Digital and this tray was orginally made for use with Digital printers. However, it can also be used with the HP printers, as well as the other similar SX printers. Click the part number (R63-0051-700) to check for price and availability, or to order.
