HP calls this set of DeskJets the "Professional Series" printers, and they have good reason. All of these 800 series, 600 dpi DeskJets deliver your documents faster than ever in vibrant color, laser quality blacks, and smoother, more even grays. They are loaded with HP's exclusive technologies, including the RealLife Imaging System with C-REt (Color Resolution Enancement technology) and ColorSmart (adjusts color quality automatically), which use the smallest dot size ever to produce an astonishing array of shades resulting in vivid true-to-life color. And HP's patented inks give superior results on all office paper, as well as premium photo papers and a variety of other media. You also get manual two-sided printing, 150 sheet paper input, and one of the most extensive font collections on the market.

Their robust engines and rugged duty cycles give these DeskJets the power to handle whatever you need them to handle, whether your office is at home or part of a business network. There is an Professional Series 800 DeskJet for everyone: the 820cse and 820 cxi were the first DeskJets especially made for Windows users alone for unsurpassed system utilization; the 870cse and 870 cxi have a RISC processor that makes them perfect for Macintosh, MS-DOS, and Windows, and with an optional HP JetDirect print server they will be very happy handling your office network; the 890cse and 890 cxi will also accept a JetDirect print server and will run with MS-DOS and Windows machines.
