Cover Shapes and Colors

There are many wiring harnesses inside the CX engine that were not documented by Canon in any of the published parts catalogs. Because the cable assemblies are not tagged with part numbers either, we don't know the real part numbers for all the wiring harnesses; but surely Canon must have created them in order to organize their manufacturing.

The special connectors and terminals used to construct the wiring harnesses are listed in the above parts table. When describing a needed cable assembly, please tell us its length, how many conductors it has, and which connectors are on each end, using the part numbers listed here. We can no longer guarantee the connectors to be available, as Canon is no longer stocking all CX parts.
