They provide fast, economical prints on media of a wide variety (such as plain or glossy paper, transparencies, lables and envelopes), in sizes up to 8.5" x 14". Their straight-through paper path lets you use a greater range of paper weights, too, and eliminates curling on heavier media and envelopes. Plenty of input sources (standard 150-sheet and 250-sheet trays and optional 500-sheet feeder that comes standard on the 4500 & 4550 DN models) give you the freedom to print on multiple paper types and sizes without swapping paper trays, and the output capacity is 250 sheets face down, 150 sheets face up. Add an optional duplexer (standard on the DN models) and you can even print double-sided color pages!
